Country Strong Movie Reviewed – I just saw this film this week. I can’t comprehend why it was rated so low, and it just shows that I am glad I don’t listen to the critics. There are so many that do not like it because they compare it to past movies that are slightly similar. I have seen very few films like this, specially ones that are based on country so I saw it as very unbiased. Just take the movie for what it really is, on its unique merit, for a really great story! The acting was realistic. The singing, which was performed by the actors themselves, was wonderfully passionate and real. Gwyneth, Garrett, and especially Leighton, WOW! The plot? Who cares if it is much like others. This flick seemed so very true to what it could in truth be like. Gwyneth’s recognition to be the character she has to be, was exceptional. She had pathos, wonderful talent and as a woman and wife whose partner had forgotten how to really be a husband and partner, she was passionate and light hearted yet as well sad and lost. Once again she showed how excellent and talented an actress she genuinely is.
Garrett and Leighton performed their roles very professionally, very real and we hope to see more from them.
I adore this movie. It had a definite influence on me, being a musician and someone who had felt the loss of hope the exact same way Kelly did in this movie.
If some critics hadn’t trashed it so much, this picture would have ruled at the box office! Kudos to all involved. Watch free movies online including Country Strong.
